There Is a “High Degree of Confidence” That Vaccines Work Against Indian Variant, Says Matt Hancock

by Michael Curzon
16 May 2021 11:32 AM

Health Secretary Matt Hancock says there is a “high degree of confidence” that vaccines work against the Indian Covid variant, but that it can “spread like wildfire” among those who are unvaccinated. The Mail on Sunday has the story.

The Health Secretary said that a new Oxford University investigation showed that the innoculations available were effective against the variant which is now dominant in some Northern towns.

Four people are known to have died from the Indian variant but appearing on TV this morning Mr Hancock said those who had been hospitalised were “largely people who are eligible for the vaccine but have not taken it”.

It came as Boris Johnson today pledged to increase the speed of Britain’s vaccine rollout to a million jabs a day in an attempt to beat the increasing prevalence of the variant amid fears it could derail the country’s exit from lockdown.

Appearing on Sky’s Sophy Ridge on Sunday he said: “There’s new very early data out from Oxford University, and I would stress that this is from the labs, it’s not clinical data, and it’s very early.

“But it does give us a degree of confidence that the vaccines work against this Indian variant, but it is clearly more transmissible and has been spreading fast in the groups where there’s a cluster.

“That means that we can stay on course with our strategy of using the vaccine to deal with the pandemic and opening up carefully and cautiously but we do need to be really very vigilant to the spread of the disease.

“We have a high degree of confidence that the vaccine will overcome.”

But Mr Hancock did strike a note of more caution over the final release from lockdown on June 21st, saying the final decision would not be taken until June 14th.

When talking about the final step of the “roadmap” out of lockdown, Hancock said that the Government is being “cautious” because it wants the reopening to be “irreversible”. He seemed to suggest that the June 21st date for this reopening may not be stuck to if enough people don’t get vaccinated against Covid, despite the fact that 36 million people have already had a first vaccine dose and more than 19 million (that is, those who are most vulnerable to the virus) have had a second.

New variants are one of the biggest risks to this opening because of the speed of transmission of [the Indian variant] – it can really spread like wildfire among the unvaccinated groups. Hence we need to get as many people vaccinated as possible, particularly those who are most vulnerable to ending up in hospital.

Watch this scum closely in an interview. He has trained himself to focus his eyes on the interviewer throughout. The movements of the eyes can give away a lot of information, especially when one is lying through their teeth. Total psychopathic villain. More than any of the others, I want this one jailed for life.

Sadly I think they do believe this and refusing vaccines for certain communities is becoming very difficult. Interesting that the pressure is being put on Muslim communities whilst the surveys on vaccine hesitancy shows it is black communities who are the most unlikely to be vaccinated.

It was only the other week that Boris was saying the reduction in numbers of positive tests (I refuse to call them infections) was not due to the vaccines but because of lockdowns.

They are so desperate to get everyone jabbed in order to cover their own backsides that they can’t even sing from the same hymn sheet.

If only it is to cover their own backsides and then they leave us alone. I will resist having their vaccine for ever if I can but I do fear there will be blaming of the unvaccinated for any further hospitalisations vaxxed or unvaxxed come the winter. I find this covid vaccine obsession utterly bizarre and wonder if it will be applied to influenza vaccine come the autumn. I am not having either and just intent to keep my head down. Luckily for me I am retired and don’t come under work related pressures. What limits there will be on unvaxxed movements in the future I will wait and see.

Me also. That’s why I’m cautious about slagging off individuals who compromise on masks or vaccinations, even tho’ it makes me shudder.

Their masters have told them that 100% of their populations need this experimental drug. I doubt Handjob understands why, he’s just doing what he has been told in order to get bigger rewards at the trough. It will become mandatory and forced. Ultimately this has got to be about population reduction through genocide. Not sure whether this particular “vaccine” will be a big bang or whether future mandatory “vaccines” will slowly whittle down the population.

There are many oddities to the modern era but one of the oddest is that the Lockdown Sceptics site is doing the Government’s work for them, in helping spread fear and angst across the land, rather than rationally picking apart the Government’s propaganda offensive.

The government’s main aim here is not protection of the public but increasing the proportion of vaccinated people, especially in BAME communities. . Why because introduction of a Digital Compliance ID system will be difficult if BAME communities are disproportionately unvaccinated,

We will see a similar BS campaign when time comes to put our children on the altar of Digital Compliance.

“Hancock said that the Government is being “cautious” because it wants the reopening to be “irreversible”.

The evil bastards have absolutely NO intention of making opening up irreversible! They’ve got to get the experimental poison into as many as possible – billions of beans resting on this for a start, and of course, this is going to be the start of the true demonization of the un-jabbed! Also got an agenda to follow too.. These sick bags of shite aren’t going to let go, you can see the glee in Wetcock’s face. They KNOW the jab take up isn’t as great as they’ve been parroting so they’ve got make everyone believe its “those bad anti-vaxxers”, never mind about borders and flights in from India… I don’t use the word “hate” very often, but I do HATE each and everyone of these monsters in power, doing their master’s bidding to destroy everything we have ever lived for. The fight back is just beginning.

Err, Matt, stick with the script mate…

Six people hospitalised with Indian Covid after having vaccine

Six people have been hospitalised with coronavirus symptoms after contracting the Indian variant of the disease – despite having had a vaccine. Health Secretary Matt Hancock said five people who have had a single jab have been hospitalised with the Indian variant in Bolton, and one who had received both. He told The Andrew Marr Show on the BBC: “We think that there are five people who have ended up in hospital having had one jab.”

Yes so true. But why is this utter bullshit comment like spread like wildfire amongst the unjabbed posted on LS with no rebuttal by LS?? So are we now lockdown sceptics but vax believers and supporters? We will remind TY once again the jab does not stop you getting or passing the virus on. The ONLY thing this jab should have been used for is to help people who have lowered immune systems or who at high risk of dying from infection a greater degree of protection. It should have NEVER been used in healthy individuals. For a whole year this disease has killed a tiny amount of people who have no comorbidities or serious illness. This whole statement from handjob is just more fear mongering, it has no basis in fact, current data or truth. Why are LS not calling this out. They are really not doing their job. I exclude Will from this, he has been great.

Hancock and Johnson are completely untrustworthy, and that isn’t news.

As I’m sure others recognise, I think this is an enormous and damaging exercise in arse-covering and careful manoeuvring for allocation of blame. This is because Johnson is weak, and the epitome of the Flashman type of public schoolboy. All the time he is enjoying the power he has over the nation, he is making sure that he has someone lined up to carry the can when required. The natural target is SAGE & Co.

The SAGE and other “experts”, who seem to spring up like weeds, especially when given an opportunity to voice their Cassandra-like prophesies are unfortunately engaged in the same activities, and consistently over-egg the pudding with nonsensical and terrifying predictions, based upon nothing. Exaggeration is an old trick.

All this might have been handled rather better if Johnson, probably pushed on by “PPE” Hancock, hadn’t let his SAGE whipping boy get the upper hand, and obtain so much prominence, such that they are now the de facto rulers. The abject failure of any of the media to question even a particle of this has allowed it to get even further out of hand.

Hancock, Johnson, SAGE et al are puppets, manipulated by the Davos clique who are intent on subjecting us to complete control through digital passports. The obfuscating is purposeful, as is the emotional blackmail. ‘The reopening may be stuck to if not enough people get vaccinated…’ Or should the pathetic toady-boy wet-arsed Hancock say that the vaccine passports won’t take off if not enough get vaccinated and that their evil scheme will fail. That is why the young are now being targeted – it is nothing to do with the virus. They are as good as immune to it. The virus has been an excuse to enforce vaccines on the public (for their own good, of course) on route to the passports. The digital passports are the ultimate goal and will be the means of controlling the population. Every single person who digs in their heels and quietly refuses is preventing this evil from happening.

It’s just priming us for the expensive top up jabs coming this autumn, which they – especially Pfizer – openly admit are coming. So at the moment the “jabs seem to work against this Indiant variant” = get the jabs – both jabs – all of you! Or you will soon be burning on pyres.
But “a few jabs are not working” = carry on being very afraid. You will need to keep coming to Big Nurse, because a new variant may come up at any moment which the jabs don’t work against.
That variant will come later in summer.
This fear mongering will not lessen for a little while here until ever baby upwards in the UK has a Vaccine Passport and everyone has jabs updated every nine months. Meanwhile they work to get the whole world jabbed and passported “ready for the next pandemic”. Which will come pretty soon, Prof Wormtongue has the modelling programmes ready.

And who were these patients? Elderly, unwell? Little story from my partners hospital. Man,50s, had chest pain at home, rang his gp and said his brother had currently tested positive for covid, only mild illness, and he was worried his current chest pain might be covid. GP said ring for ambulance and get to a & e to check if it was a heart attack. Patient got to a & e had all the checks, not heart attack but anxiety, 2 nights in hospital with PCR covid check on admission, no covid symptoms. Test was positive, moved from ordinary ward to covid ward, assessed and as still fine with no signs of illness of any sort was discharged home to isolate for 10 days. I don’t think any staff were made to isolate from this contact. Given this is often the symptoms or none-symptoms of covid I really don’t know when we are going to be able to get on with our lives. Once they have coerced reluctant communities and young people to be vaxxed does anyone think that will be the end of it? I asked my nurse partner the same question and he has begun to wonder if… Read more »

Your narration about the man in his 50’s is a perfect illustration of how testing is a component in nosocomial spread.

The problem one is faced with in hospital is that of staff who have simply been handed down senseless orders, in a situation where, in normal times, clear procedures need to be followed. This is how the unforgivable corruption occurs.

Matt Hancock seems to imagine we have all forgotten that he said exactly the same thing several weeks ago about the terrifying new Kent variant. So transmissible, so dangerous etc etc. He even sent special teams round, doing house to house searches to try and isolate it. My prediction is that in a few weeks the ‘Indian” variant will be old news and about as scary as a baby rabbit.

This country has been under enemy occupation for more than a year. Why aren’t more people out on the streets as resistance fighters? All the talk about easing restrictions means nothing when the occupiers have the wild card of “dangerous” variants they can play at any time.

On the bright side I think that the ramifications of Reiner Fuellmich’s legal wins in Germany, and more recently those of lawyers in Canada, have started to put the frighteners on the Davos “elite”, and this is beginning to filter down to their puppets at national level. The scam is unravelling but in the meantime they seem determined to get as many people as possible jabbed/passported before the shit really hits the fan with Nuremberg-style trials for crimes against humanity.

Odd really, the goons must still think they have some chance of victory otherwise they’d all surely come out of their bunkers right now with their hands up.

He is only saying this in order to convince more people to get vaccinated. He has no idea if the vaccines work or not.

I wonder how they ‘detect’ these variants given how they havent isolated the ordinary virus as far as I know. Just how to they look at the genome and other characteristics of this tiny virus and then compare it with who knows what in order to declare that they have found the ‘Indian’ variant? Just who is doing this job looking at viruses and categorising them all?

My guess is that no one is, they are just making it all up.

Meanwhile, at Bristol yesterday a great talk by a Doctor and researcher who told us that the efficacy of Ivermectin was over 70% for those with covid, and over 80% for those without it but using it to avoid becoming ill. Isnt this cheap medication better than the vaccines, and much safer to boot? No wonder her videos proclaiming her evidence was taken down off of YouTube.

Oh Lord…does it matter if, as with many other pathogens, this this effing variant ‘spreads like wildfire’…the only thing that matters is whether it is serious enough to kill/hospitalise the majority who pick it up. Why oh why is LS even paying lipservice to the BBC propaganda machine, let alone quoting them? They are proven liars and the first-line mass propaganda machine. Why the need to disseminate the Bojo, Mancock, and their crones, terrorist, lying, evil rhetoric. Why recently, is LS so often serving up, ad-nauseum, vax numbers, and vax stats? The ‘evils‘ don’t need any extra promo for their terror campaign. Why aren’t you picking everything apart and actively questioning the official narrative as you used to?
Personally, these days, the minute I see the letters ‘BBC’ I can’t help myself, I just scroll past, whatever the piece as fast as I can. I just can’t help myself. I know what to expect, and it’s not good for the blood pressure.
It is a sad day when I find myself asking these questions. LS has kept me sane for most of the last 14-15 months. What’s happened?

“spreading like wildfire amongst the unvaccinated…” Hang on, does that mean he thinks it will NOT spread amongst the vaccinated..? Since when does the “jab” act as an inoculating vaccine, i.e. PREVENTING you from contracting this seasonal virus. Last I read these jabs are a phase 3 viral treatment, authorised for emergency use only as the long term trials into side effects are not yet concluded, seeks to reduce the symptoms and cannot prevent a person who acquires a high viral load from spreading it. Seems to me to be a method of allowing herd immunity to develop – unless Bojo et al and the SAGE cabal do an about turn.
