School Leaders Say Children Should Be Vaccinated before the Start of the Summer Holidays

by Michael Curzon
5 June 2021 12:14 PM

Following the approval of the use of the Pfizer vaccine in those aged 12-15 by the U.K. medicines regulator, school leaders have called on the Government to vaccinate schoolchildren against Covid before the start of the summer holidays. Their hope is that pupils will be fully vaccinated before returning to the classroom in September. The MailOnline has the story.

Ministers have asked the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) whether to give the jab to teenagers – the current rollout is set to stop at age 18 except for children with serious health conditions.

The JCVI – which normally rules who should get a vaccine – is expected to tell Number 10 that jabbing children is a “political” decision and will leave the ball in ministers’ court.

Teaching unions and school leaders today said starting vaccinating children soon could ensure they have had both jabs by the time they start the school year in September.

But vaccinating children against the virus is a controversial issue because youngsters only have a tiny risk of getting seriously ill and their immunity would likely only protect older adults.

More than 100 cross-party MPs and the World Health Organisation have said the priority should be to get vaccine doses abroad to poorer countries where vulnerable people still haven’t been jabbed before giving them to low-risk children.

Hamid Patel, Chief Executive of the Star Academies school trust based in Blackburn – the area of the country with the most cases of the Covid Indian variant – said schoolchildren should be vaccinated as a matter of priority.

He said there would be a much higher uptake if children were given the jab during term time before the school holidays…

And Patrick Roach, General Secretary of the NASUWT teaching union, also urged the JCVI to consider expanding the rollout to teenagers.

He said offering them the vaccine would “protect the wider adult population who are at greater risk from Covid”.

There are “ethical dilemmas” to be considered when it comes to the decision on whether or not to vaccinate children against Covid, an expert has said.

Professor Anthony Harnden, Deputy Chairman of the JCVI, said while a “very small minority” of children have been severely affected by the virus, children “in the main” do not get severe illness.

He told BBC Breakfast: “I think the vast majority of benefit won’t be to children, it will be an indirect benefit to adults in terms of preventing transmission and protecting adults who haven’t been immunised, for whatever reason haven’t responded to the vaccine and therefore that presents quite a lot of ethical dilemmas as to whether you should vaccinate children to protect adults.”

He added: “We need to be absolutely sure that the benefits to them (children) and potentially to society far outweigh any risks.”

Worth reading in full.

Stop Press: Health Secretary Matt Hancock says vaccinating children in the U.K. against Covid will take priority over donating doses to other countries.

Don’t let the bastards get you down.

If I was the education minister right now, I’d sack the entire lot, then make them reapply for their jobs on the premise that anyone who’d insisted on vaccines or masks for schoolchildren would be forbidden from ever being employed in a teaching establishment ever again. Ditto anyone teaching CRT, or identity politics of any kind.

If you were the education minister, I expect that you’d do a better job of it, with intelligence, morals and a basic understanding of education and what children need, and we must give them. The incumbent has none of this, being a yes-man in post because of that, and a fine example of the Peter Principle.

I never thought I would say this, but we need to start doing far far more than writing on blogs and comment sections. We need to look at America and see how they are beginning to take over politics. We need to stop turning on that bloody box that brainwashes us. We need to get on the streets and get in the faces of politicians. We need to destroy the media and fund the alternative media who have been trying to inform us fir years as to what the agenda is.

Absolutely fucking disgraceful that this is even being considered. Even the entire might of the government propaganda machine can’t make a case that it is in any way about protecting children so how in God’s name can this even be up for discussion. Am feeling absolutely fucking murderous. How any parent can sleep at night thinking that this is what we have become is beyond me. Jeez. Had any society in history ever blatantly put the fears of adults ahead of the protection of children. Even if those fears were valid, it would still not be acceptable. But now, with an endemic mild illness that hardly anyone has and that most idiots have been vaccinated against, this doesn’t make any sense even within the ludicrous narrative spouted by the amoral venal bedwetters that call themselves our government. They can fuck the fuck off to hell and back before they come anywhere near my child.

Just who are these fucking bastards? Don’t they educate themselves beyond the government and media narratives? Clearly not. With so much reliable data now available I come back to the same view I had at this time last year, i.e. it’s a battle between good and evil. Unlike this time last year, however, I now know what evil looks like, what it’s doing under cover of covid, and who some of the culprits are. Parents stand up ffs, it’s your kid(s) they’re messing with, the operative word here being ‘messing’ for sure.

You forget, the preaching unions in the U.S. congratulated themselves at keeping the schools closed, in the face of evidence that there was no danger to anyone.
Some of them also happily went off to teach illegal migrants who’d just come across the border.

At least the children weren’t being brainwashed with identity politics, and perverted sex education while the schools were closed.
And parents started to find out exactly what their children were being taught.

“I think the vast majority of benefit won’t be to children, it will be an indirect benefit to adults in terms of preventing transmission “

Which, in scientific terms is utter, lying bollocks.

There is absolutely no reliable evidence suggesting that children are vectors for transmission. That’s not even news.

… and the base of evidence remains : the danger to of transmission/infection outside of nosocomial settings is minimal – even for the ‘vulnerable’. This is no ’emergency’, even by stretch of the most fervid imagination.

The profundity of the evil deepens.

I am another oldie, who very much shares your sentiments.

Covid “vaccines” are clearly highly dangerous to all those who are injected with them, whatever their age. Those people who allow children in their charge to be injected with these toxic potions are demonstrably and totally unfit for the role of parent, or guardian.

Patrick Roach, General Secretary of the NASUWT teaching union…said offering [teenagers] the vaccine would “protect the wider adult population who are at greater risk from Covid”.

Err, so you want to vax teenagers to protect those that have already been vaxxed…?

That’s the logic of a dribbling retard Patrick.

And that’s before we get to the point that the vaccines do not prevent transmission.

Please kill yourself.

How many children constitute the “very small minority” who have allegedly been “severely affected” by this disease? Ages, co-morbidities, deaths? No, not that many at all.
This is just another example of the pure evil of the teachers, who would obviously rather stay at home on 100% salary whilst doing nothing (wouldn’t we all), and some so-called scientist. How much funding has Harnden had from Gates?

I calculated the COVID mortality risk for my two children in the U.S. My kids are 5 and 9 and healthy. We are not minorities so I focussed on mortality stats for non-minority children aged 0 to 14.

The odds of death were 1-in-695,000. But this was based on counting every every child death. Common sense – and studies – tell us that probably half of the very few deaths to children occurred among kids who were already ill and thus had a compromised immune system. If you just focussed on healthy children with no co-morbidities, the probability of death for children 0 to 15 would certainly be well over 1-in-1-million. Maybe 1-in-2-million.

For context, the odds a random American will get struck by lightning in any given year are 1-in-700,000.

BTW, for children, the mortality rate for the flu is higher than it is for COVID.

In the UK in 2020 among the 11 million under-15s there were zero, nought, nil deaths attributable to covid in healthy children. Nine under-15s with pre-exisiting life limiting conditions did die. Ergo the chance of covid death for a healthy child is less than 1 in 11million. Meanwhile, a child did die from a lightning strike and another from a gas explosion in a domestic heating system.

ONS statistics for England and Wales: last year 9 children under 15 died ‘with covid’ out of a population of 9,831,371. That’s about 1 in a million. Furthermore, ONS say that 21.4% died ‘of covid’. That’s 1 in five million.

Yes – the four Koch postulates:
1. The microorganism must be found in the diseased animal, and not found in healthy animals.
2. The microorganism must be extracted and isolated from the diseased animal and subsequently grown in culture.
3. The microorganism must cause disease when introduced to a healthy experimental animal.

I find it very disturbing that an ATL article on Lockdown Sceptics should start with the following (Curzon’s own words):

Following the approval of the use of the Pfizer vaccine in those aged 12-15 by the U.K. medicines regulator, school leaders have called on the Government to vaccinate schoolchildren against Covid before the start of the summer holidays. Their hope is that pupils will be fully vaccinated before returning to the classroom in September.

This is the government’s language FFS! We’re talking about coercing (it will be coercion) children to have the vaccine – something that will confer on them no medical benefits but which will certainly in a number of cases cause death or serious injury with lifelong consequences for their health. Let’s be perfectly clear: healthy happy children will die or be maimed. Is that ethical? Proportionate? Sensible? Think of their suffering and their families’ suffering.

Where is the outrage ATL? Are they so vaxomane as to not see this is a complete denial of our values?

I’d be interested in hearing Toby’s thoughts on his own children being “vaccinated” with this experimental gene therapy. I know he’s pro vaccine when it comes to the adult population, but is he willing to gamble with his own children’s health for the sake of a medical intervention that won’t benefit them. I think it’s time LS nailed their colours to the mast in terms of which side of the fence they sit on with regard to this incredibly worrying issue. It’s simply not good enough to just sit on the fence. Our children deserve more consideration than that.

Yes, absolutely. Toby needs to make clear his position. For me this is an absolute line. It’s a well established principle of civilised behaviour that you don’t sacrifice children in order to save adults. But the MHRA and Government Ministers with the support of NHS, PHE and the education sector have totally turned this round. They are prepared to sacrifice children (who derive no benefit even from the vaccine) in order to save adults from death or even mere inconvenience. It is quite incredible. But all the sane people seem to be BTL while the ATL folk seem totally relaxed about this descent into barbarism.

“Following the approval” … “This is the government’s language”

Worse, it’s a pro experimental injection spin on it. The government language is “This medicinal product has been given authorisation for temporary supply”, under the heading “Regulation 174” [1]. (R. 174: “The prohibitions in regulation 46 (requirement for authorisation) do not apply where the sale or supply of a medicinal product is authorised by the licensing authority on a temporary basis in response to the suspected or confirmed spread of … pathogenic agents … which may cause harm to human beings.” [2]) This is a far cry from an approved treatment.

Which reminds me, my controlled opposition poll is still running: https://dailysceptic.org/2021/05/07/immunity-passports-a-debate-between-jay-bhattacharya-and-alberto-giubilini/#comment-494698

Your future, children, has been decided – you’re basically going to be an underclass, working in one of the great industries of the 21st century – narcotics, prostitution, drop shipping. Your dissatisfaction and permanent insecurity will be the engine of the lovely new economy. Meanwhile, you are required to risk side effects up to and including death, in order not to be protected against an infection that poses zero threat to you, purely to satisfy the false premises of models on which politicians’ reputations rest.

When the time comes for you to take revenge, make sure you do it properly.

Well, surely, if Bill Gates can describe himself as a “health expert” based on Nada, we all can!

School leaders? All of them? Some of them? A bloke in Blackburn?

The vast majority of school leaders have not spoken up about this so we have no idea what they think.

But if this kind of headline gets around they will certainly feel pressured to go along with it, as the headline gives the impression that it is MOST school leaders.

Enough! We want to hear the voices of those against it, not some asshole from Blackburn that runs a bunch of academies.

Exactly. This place is supposed to be a source of SCEPTICAL information and opinion. Instead it constantly reinforces the official lies by quoting the nobodies while frowning and scratching its chin. It’s beyond pathetic.

Some of these stories at least mention that the risks to children are “minimal” or “very minimal.” However, no reporter ever quantifies these risks. This would be very easy to do. In the UK, how many healthy 12 to 15 year-old children have died from COVID in the past 18 months? Not leukemia patients, kids who were perfectly healthy otherwise? Once you have this number, divide it by the number of children in the entire country. This would be your mortality rate from COVID … and it will be microscopic (not “minimal.”).

ONS statistics for England and Wales: last year 9 children under 15 died ‘with covid’ out of a population of 9,831,371. That’s about 1 in a million. Furthermore, ONS say that 21.4% died ‘of covid’ alone. That’s about 1 in five million.
These are easy numbers to remember. Put them against the rate of death from the jabs which has been 1 in 31,000 since the programme started. The chances of death in healthy kids will be increased 160-fold!
If this jab nonsense goes ahead with these current rates, I calculate that it will got to the top of the list of child mortality at 22% of all child deaths.

And how about medium-term to long-term effects? How will their developing immune systems be affected? There is no long-term data. It is beyond belief this vaccination program is being given the go-ahead on children. How long before it will be recommended for all those below 12 years old?
Already these vaccinations have killed and maimed children and aborted babies. What the hell is going to happen further on down the line?

Completely selfish and self serving. Unfortunately something I have come to expect from these people. Healthy children are at virtually no serious risk from the virus and are at far greater risk from serious side effects from the “vaccines” themselves.

This must be the absolute line in the sand .. I urge everone to do something .. make everyone you know aware of the the dangers involved with what is being suggested .. write / email / social media etc .. your local leaders .. MPs .. doctors .. headmasters schoolteachers .. we must get active in defence of the children .. this must not happen.

Everyone MUST issue their local headteachers and education authorities with Notices of Liability. This is the only legal means we have at our disposal. I am a teacher and I am currently drafting one for each of my school’s senior leadership team, should they allow this to happen on site. By making them acknowledge their own criminality under international law, we make them culpable; when Nuremberg 2.0 happens, they will not be able to claim that they were just following procedures etc.

This is very interesting as it immediately puts up a barrier and I don’t imagine that the teaching profession will care to ignore it. It may be useful to present to the doctors or those in charge in the event of coercion of adults too since the same principle applies. Anyway, well done crisisgarden. Your posts are very positive and uplifting. A special teacher indeed.

Unions not the slightest bit interested in the safety, happiness, wellbeing of children once again? Now there’s a surprise. When do we riot?

We hold off on the rioting and instead issue all headteachers with Notices of Liability indicating that by allowing children to be injected with unlicensed drugs with known serious side effects on their premises they are committing war crimes and will be held accountable. Everyone needs to do this immediately.
