COVID-19 Virus has a Genetic Feature Never Found in Nature that Lab Scientists Use to Track Engineered Viruses

by Will Jones
8 June 2021 11:51 PM

Medical doctor Steven Quay and Emeritus Professor Richard Muller have written an article in the Wall Street Journal in which they set out what they believe to be “the most compelling reason to favour the lab leak hypothesis”. It is the fact that SARS-CoV-2 has a genetic feature that has never been observed in natural SARS-like coronaviruses, but which is the preferred feature for scientists when engineering viruses in the lab. It’s preferred because it is simpler and more familiar for lab workers, and also because it can then be used as a tell-tale marker of the engineered virus when tracking it in the lab.

The genome of SARS-CoV-2 includes as part of its genetic coding of the spike protein a sequence known as “double CGG” (CGG-CGG) that codes for two “arginine” amino acids in a row. Quay and Muller explain that there are 35 other possibilities that could occur in this location, known as the “furin cleavage site”, which would not disadvantage the virus in any way so are equally likely to be selected for by natural fitness. Furthermore, viruses often evolve by picking up genetic code from other viruses (known as recombination), but since double CGG doesn’t exist in nature for SARS-like viruses (or didn’t before SARS-CoV-2) this common route of picking it up is not available, making its appearance in a new coronavirus even less likely.

On the other hand, double CGG is the most commonly used sequence for lab workers when engineering the furin cleavage site in gain-of-function research, because it is readily available and familiar and can then be used to track the engineered virus.

There is also evidence the Wuhan scientists tried to conceal this genetic smoking gun. When the Wuhan Institute of Virology’s “bat woman” Dr Shi Zhengli and colleagues published a paper in February 2020 with the virus’s partial genome, the double-CGG furin cleavage site section was in the part of the genome omitted (though could be seen in the accompanying data).

The double-CGG furin cleavage site is often used in gain-of-function engineering to make a virus more infectious or virulent. “Humanised” mice are typically then repeatedly exposed to the engineered virus in order to accelerate the process of adaptation to humans. If the virus did originate through this kind of research it would therefore explain why there is no evidence of this adaptation occurring in nature for SARS-CoV-2, unlike with SARS-1.

A further point of interest is that the U.S. National Security Council, after reading an April 2020 paper in which Chinese military researchers studied SARS-CoV-2 using humanised mice, deduced that the mice involved must have been engineered some time during summer 2019, prior to the pandemic, raising questions about the reasons they had been engineered and what they were being used for at the time SARS-CoV-2 emerged in the autumn of 2019.

The evidence for a lab leak origin during gain-of-function research is looking more compelling by the day.

As you read this, the Chinese scientist who developed COVID-19 is heading for the Gulag as punishment for creating the least effective biological weapon the world has ever seen.

It needn’t have been a bioweapon. It could have been intentionally released viral vector vaccine. The genetic insert being the marker that they already had ready to put in their gene-therapy vaccines.
The “China did it” narrative is ultimately unrelated to the Gain of Function narrative.

Agreed. And the retaliation from western governments is to convince its people that they need to “manufacture and buy locally to beat the virus” – thus hoping to reduce trade with China. It won’t work, though. The West is feckless and lazy, sadly.

But the citizens of the US have to accept that their taxes were used in a highly dangerous way developing viruses in a country which seeks to overtake its power and that the research was fully open to its security/bioweapon development arm. Even if the very last stage wasn’t directly funded by Faucism. And it has crippled their own economy. And Fauci and a whole bunch of top scientists lied about it relentlessly.
Er, when do the FBI and CIA start interviews?
Who – who – was directly funding this final bit of research?

Early on in this whole pandemic scenario, when I first read that Gates had said, this won’t end until the world is vaccinated, a shiver ran up my spine. There has been something deeply suspect all the way through, the same rehearsed mantra spoken by global leaders, the unheard of levels of censorship and curtailment of basic rights and freedoms, the gas lighting of seriously highly qualified heterodox voices, the ignoring of strong evidence and data around the excellent treatment afforded by the cheap, widely available and trusted drug, ivermectin. and the concerted propaganda campaign of fear has meant that I have not trusted one word from the government and their media shills.
When Blair stepped back into the limelight pushing his vaccine and longed for bio-identity passport we knew for certain that dark forces were controlling the agenda. Blair’s so-called foundation receive $22 million from Gates.

Just as 10% of insect species are parisitoids, around 10% of humans are sociopaths.
The high-functioning sociopaths are very successful in camouflaging their nature from the general public.
The evidence is clear that sociopaths are over-represented in management positions. High-functioning sociopaths and psychopaths will be concentrated at the top as senior management, owners and primary share-holders, lording it over the wage-slaves that labour under them in a hierarchy of parasitology.

We ultimately don’t know why this happened. I think it’s pretty much certain that this was created in Wuhan, artificially. Why it got out… who knows? Maybe it was a legitimate leak. Maybe they designed it as benign as it is in order to not anger the rest of the world too much, but still scare them a bit. Maybe there is a completely different goal. Maybe the virus is meant to deliver a genetic payload. Maybe it’s only meant to make the population buy into a vaccine.

It was always planned according to Mike Yeadon. But the timing was brought forward due to populist uprisings across the West which was disrupting the years and years of planning. Everything is in the public domain if you just search for it. World Economic Forum has the plan explained by Klaus Schwab. (German). Videos by Bill Gates (related to Rockerfeller). The lizards as Icke called them were always lurking, scheming building their useful idiots (those who were easily bribed due to their lifestyles). The Laptop from hell, suppressed, had a lot of the names on it. Why do you think the civil service fought so hard to stop Brexit, why was Tony Blair made Middle East Envoy, why did Macron appear from nowhere, why did Merkel get away with ignoring an election loss, why was Obama’s second term won fraudulently but never investigated, why was Trump’s election openly stolen and then the media shut down. Why was Boris stabbed in the back by Gove and then Theresa May fully supported by all the Tory Brexiteers. OK. Now that the conspiracy theory reveals an actual top “expert” top “scientist” cover up conspiracy, let me add another what if. For which I have no evidence whatever. Still. What if the attraction of China as a place to put this research was the very ruthlessness of its regime? What if it might have been possible in China, but not obviously in the US, to have such an engineered, relatively mild virus tested on humans? What if a small sample of humans were infected, isolated, but that was the bit where the leak happened, not a lab leak? Just blue sky wondering. No evidence.

I heard this in February 2020 I think, from Dr Ray Peat in one of his interviews. He said that it had come from America as you indicate, that the annual Army competition held in Wuhan before Christmas wasn’t successful because they were all unwell, that Ray and a number of people he knew had looked at what was happening and concluded that nothing unusual was happening (that is to say no pandemic).
In another interview when asked about what was going on in Italy he said that it was normal for that industrial part of Italy, with a high population of the elderly, to have difficulty each year. I’ve heard Mike Yeadon say the same thing since then about Italy.

Someone quoted a book from, I think the early 2000s, which was a kind of memoir of working in high security bio labs. (Anyone remember its title?) It was scary to find out just how “leaky” they are, even without mal intent. The reassuring “Porton Down” image we have in our heads about such facilities is not realistic when you are dealing with humans genetically programmed to take the short cut.

Indian scientists led by Prashant Pradhan at the Indian Institute of Technology released a pre-print entitled “Uncanny similarity of unique inserts in the 2019-nCoV spike protein to HIV-1 gp120 and Gag” https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.01.30.927871v1 …in which they reported finding segments of the virus’s RNA that resemble those belong to HIV, a feature not found in other coronaviruses like SARS. The researchers stated: “This is startling as it is quite unlikely for a virus to have acquired such unique insertions naturally in a short duration of time.” Professor Luc Montagnier, French Nobel Prize winner and co-discoverer of HIV, claims in an interview that the Covid-19 virus is partially lab grown and that his research revealed that it contains small sequences from HIV, the AIDS virus and insists that more and more researchers are coming to the same conclusion. “ “No, it’s not natural. It’s a lab work of professional molecular biologists. It’s a very accurate work… we can say a work of watchmaker…” “The possibility is probably they wanted to make a vaccine against the Aids. So, they took small sequences of the virus and they installed them on the larger sequence of the coronavirus.” “And these sequences are not small for nothing; they have… Read more »

Apparently not…. Through freedom of information requests nobody has been able to provide evidence of the existence of the ‘virus’ from isolation/purification. This applies to all viruses, including HIV, measles, smallpox etc. Stefan Lanka’s offer of 100,000 euros for anyone who can prove existence of measles virus still up for grabs. People are scared of this potential paradigm shift…. maybe because it puts the onus of responsibility back on us re nutritional deficiencies and toxic environments as causes of dis-ease.

Many top scientists like Mike Yeadon are talking about a leak from the lab in Wuhan that proved the Globalists were moving ahead with their depopulation plan by 2050. However, it was not dangerous. What did happen was President Trump becoming ever more popular and UK looking as though it would cleanly leave the EU. Both situations that would stop the planned reset and population control. The globalists decided to hijack the escaped virus in order to keep their plans under wraps until the gene therapy injection was complete. Unfortunately too many top virologists were beginning to shout from the roof tops. Everything had to be brought forward. Governments had to be threatened and bribed, elections had to be fraudulent (including those in UK), populations needed to be frightened, the media needed to follow a narrative and anyone with a differing opinion had to be de platformed. Riots across the two biggest democracies were engineered and the police Common Purpose training had to be put into practice. the upside is the eugenicists (including the useful idiots like the Biden family, Gates, Fauci, the Johnson family, Ferguson and Sedwill) have been shown to the public. If citizens do not now wake… Read more »

Here’s one for you.

We have a virus that appears to be engineered, is extraordinarily well adapted to human transmission, transmits asymptomatically to a far greater degree than previously seen, and doesn’t appear to cause as much damage to people of East Asian extraction than those of Western extraction.

I’ll have a go. Firstly, I don’t think there’s any actual real evidence that this causes more damage to one ethnic group than another. It seems this is mostly politiscience, but remain to be proven wrong. The evidence trail seems to point to the CCP panicking and scrambling to cover up that anything had happened in late 2019. Once the western media got hold of it and began to go into fear porn mode ( probably backed up by Global Pharma inc ), they had to show their strength and power. This is pretty typical of the the CCP.

What followed was a very slick propaganda campaign, showing the rapid building of hospitals, airport screening and eventually the lockdown. “We’re in control of this”, they signalled to the world. I don’t see a way that this was the Chinese government releasing a weapon upon the western world, though I’m not saying they haven’t looked into it at some point.

China beat the virus not with lockdown but with centralized quarantine, and while this was adopted in most Pacific Rim countries (including eventually New Zealand and most of Australia), the only significant country outside that region to try it was Israel (and it wasn’t enough to give them Zero Covid…)

The fact that since March 2020 no Australians returning from China tested positive while in their hotel quarantine (unlike Australians returning from the Americas, Europe or India) is strong circumstantial evidence that China is zero Covid.

Until I learned of that fact I didn’t believe it: I thought that infamous Wuhan pool party footage was a staged propaganda film (like the one the Nazis filmed in Theresienstadt) with all participants pre-quarantined.

While I suspect China’s official stats for cases and deaths are about an order of magnitude too low, the total absence of positive tests among Australians repatriated from China since March 2020 seems to be conclusive proof that China is essentially Covid-free.

If Covid were still endemic in China the only way they could avoid exporting it would be if they quarantined foreigners before allowing them out of the country, and that couldn’t be kept secret from the rest of the world.

“Conclusive proof” – not sure about that. Would need to know how many Australians we’re talking about here, and what they had been doing in China. It could be that prevalence is currently low, but was not earlier, or it could be that covid simply doesn’t spread among the Chinese in the same way it does here.

Since China tells Australia what to do and say, how can you believe anything the Australian ‘authorities’ say? Same for New Zealand – owned by China – or at least threatened. Does anyone here seriously think the Australian & New Zealand military forces will be giving the Chinese Army/Navy/Air Force a kicking?
Also China has nuclear weapons – Australia & New Zealand have to toe the line and keep on buying Chinese tat. They have to keep on hoping the Chinese don’t get tired of eating lamb.

I’m not sure I’d buy your “Australia as China’s puppet state” hypothesis, although it may be a bit more plausible in New Zealand’s case.

And Australia has such a strong anti-nuclear movement that it doesn’t even have nuclear power (although that may also be in part due to the power of the coal mining lobby) let alone nuclear weapons…

However, I though it was Muslims in the Middle East who were the biggest consumers of New Zealand lamb these days, not the Chinese.

Don’t most western countries have significant populations of Chinese ethnicity? If the virus was somehow ethnically targeted then those populations would have been largely unscathed, which would give the whole game away.

These Godless and amoral scientists will kill us all in the end by one means or another. Whether it’s by genetic engineering of the food we grow, or messing with human genes, or lab-grown viruses, one day they’ll go too far. Nature is not mocked without enormous penalties, and she will bite back.

I think a lot of this may be performance art designed to mislead. It is absolutely clear from Biden family e mails that de facto President Joe Biden was in a corrupt relationship with the Chinese via his son (who always passes on 10% to his pa, that being the deal). Joe Biden even had keys to the PLA Chinese firm’s “offices”.

Biden knows he’s been corrupt and as a result is totally in the pocket of the Chinese. The Wuhan Lab stuff, while probably factually correct, is being used to provide cover for Biden: “How can he be in a corrupt relationship with the Chinese if he’s allowing the Wuhan lab theory to be given credence?”

Well have we heard anything from Biden himself? Any voicing of concern? No. Will we see any punishment of China? No. Will the USA condemn WHO’s complicity in all this? No.

My Dad said probably some thirty or forty years ago that China would eventually infiltrate the world.
Are we rapidly heading for technocracy at the top and communism for the rest…..

I tend to look at this like WW2 (plus build up and post war period) when you saw shifting alliances of mortal enemies: Nzs and Soviet Communists, then Communists allied with capitalist West, until Germany and Japan were defeated. Monarchists allied with republicans. Democrats with fascists. Religious people and atheists.

Only on the surface was there consistency.

Similar now I think. We see Globalist Billionaires allied with the Far Left, PC activists, Islamic forces, CCP Communists, and extreme Greens. All of the above hate populist movements and seek to destroy them because they represent the people and in a non-ideological way, pragmatically.

I was told the same by my foster dad, who was then contracts manager Marconi U.K. He sold weapons all round the world & also predicted a challenge to the hegemony of the US, from China rising.
