The U.S. Centers for Disease Control is set to hold an emergency meeting over a greater than expected number of cases of heart inflammation among young Americans who have received two doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna Covid vaccine. The MailOnline has the story.
[CDC leaders] will gather on June 18th to discuss 226 plausible cases of heart inflammation in young people – mainly affecting teenage boys and young men – after they have received their second doses of the vaccines.CDC bosses said Thursday the number of cases is higher than expected, although still rare.
[CNBC reports that, according to the CDC, scientists expected only between 10-102 cases of myocarditis or pericarditis.]A total of 226 cases have been reported that may meet the CDC’s “working case definition” of myocarditis and pericarditis following the shots, the agency said.
Myocarditis is inflammation of the heart muscle, and pericarditis is inflammation of the outer lining of the heart.
Among the 226, three are in intensive care, 15 are hospitalised, and 41 have ongoing symptoms. The rest – 167 – have recovered.
It is not clear if either condition is caused by the shots and the reports of cases are extremely rare.
The CDC continues to urge everyone aged 12 and older to get vaccinated.
These types of heart inflammation can be caused by a variety of infections, including a bout of Covid, as well as certain medications…
Cases are reported through the U.S. Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).
The system accepts reports from everyone regardless of the plausibility of the vaccine causing the symptom.
In total, VAERS received 573 reports of myocarditis and pericarditis after the patient had received their second dose.
A total of 372 reports were from people who had the Pfizer vaccine, while the remaining 201 had Moderna.
Another 216 cases of the heart inflammation were also reported after dose one of the vaccines.
More than half of the cases reported after people had received their second dose were in people between the ages of 12 and 24, the CDC said.
This group accounts for less than nine per cent of doses administered.
Almost four-fifths of cases were in males.
The overwhelming majority of the cases have occurred within a week of vaccination.
Symptoms included chest pain and breathing difficulties.
This comes just one day after Moderna asked the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to extend the emergency use of its Covid vaccine to American children aged 12 and over.
The U.K. Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency approved the use of the Pfizer vaccine in British children aged 12-15 earlier this month, though the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation said that the decision on whether or not to vaccinate children against Covid is down to the Government given that it is a “political” matter. So far, the petition on the Gov.uk website against the vaccination of children has been signed by over 50,000 people.

What is interesting is that it is the two mRNA based vaccines that appear to be implicated.
Both conditions are an inflammatory response by the immune system.

Where does it say four days?
Of course you can’t claim causation without further evidence,
is it a cluster?
Is it a cluster of clusters or are they spread across the 50 states?
Are there any underlying conditions?
Are they athletes or are they overweight?
Have they had their childhood vaccinations and did they have any adverse effects?
What is their dental health?
What are the exact demographics regards to age, weight and sex?
Bearing in mind that these two conditions are the result of inflammation of the different muscles.
Inflammation is the initial response of the immune system. Also certain conditions induce a chronic inflammatory state, which is why the health of the children concerned needs to be established.
Therefore, you cannot state with any degree of certainty that these cases were directly caused by the vaccine as opposed to being precipitated by the vaccine.
“Caused by” or “precipitated by”, if your kid gets seriously ill or dies from an unnecessary and untested vaccine, do you think you give a flying either way?
All I want to see is the evidence that the vaccine caused the problems. Andrew Wakefield created a causal link between MMR and autism when none existed. The polio vaccine is known to induce paralysis in recipients, particularly the oral version. No medication is 100% safe, not even paracetamol or ibuprofen. If you actually looked at the adverse effects of everyday medication you would never take it.
Personally, I don’t think that any of the vaccines for SARS-CoV-2, particularly the ones that appear to be implicated here, should be given generally and that they should be targeted to those most at risk, as the flu vaccine is. Would you stop a child/young adult from playing football or going for a run because they could become ill or die from an unseen cardiac problem?
Re reading the article I suggest that these cases are due to the recipients own immune system responding to the vaccine, given that the reactions occurred a few days after the vaccine was administered. This would correspond to T cell activation and the inflammatory response. Could this have happened in other circumstances? Yes it could, streptococcus A infection (tonsillitis) if not treated with antibiotics can lead to rheumatic fever, which can affect the heart. Dental caries can result in problems with the heart.
The cold sore virus can cause encephalitis.
Antibiotics can result in Clostridium Difficile infection which can be fatal.
I suggest that these cases are due to…. Does that constitute a peer reviewed analysis following a full 7 – 10 years testing of these gene therapies, or are you (like this government’s chief medical officer) simply spitting on your finger and waving it around? And does it matter anyway? Legally the reaction would still be caused by the vaccine (whether directly or indirectly) and it would not have occurred BUT FOR the jab. Guesswork is just not good enough when the NHS is about to embark on jabbing an experimental vaxx into up to 9m schoolchildren. To date the vaxx has notched up a 1 in 31k morbidity rate (possibly 1 in 3.1k) in the adult populace, and a significantly higher serious adverse reaction rate. Whereas C19 has no proven link to deaths in kids with no other underlying health conditions. Had the Yellow Card vaxx deaths (officially 1296, but potentially 10x higher) been given the same attention as C19 deaths this vaxx charade would have been halted months ago until we understood the impact better. I hope as many people as possible watch yesterday’s Dark Horse Podcast, where Bret Weinstein discusses the situation with a doctor who has links to the FDA, and a serial entrepreneur. They both have interests in repurposed drugs.
It’s a very long podcast, but they have pertinent things to say about the potential effects of the vaccines on children, especially girls’ reproductive tissue.
As every day passes, I’m more relieved I haven’t been jabbed, although my child-bearing years are past.
