Australian Care Workers Face Mandatory Vaccination

by Michael Curzon
28 June 2021 1:00 PM

The Australian Government is expected to follow in England’s footsteps by making Covid vaccination mandatory for care workers, as well as for quarantine workers, due to concerns over the Indian Delta variant. The MailOnline has the story.

Cabinet’s National Security Committee met on Monday to discuss the unfolding situation with lockdowns and tighter restrictions emerging around the nation.

It is understood the leaders are expected to endorse mandatory vaccination for aged care workers.

Despite aged care workers and residents being in the initial Phase 1a roll-out, many are still not vaccinated.

Of the 910 deaths in Australia from Covid, 685 have been aged care residents.

As well, there will be a ban on accommodating low-risk domestic travellers next door to high-risk international arrivals, which triggered an outbreak in Queensland.

This could be done by separating them into different accommodation or floors in the one facility.

The National Cabinet is also set to back vaccination and testing of all quarantine workers, and making vaccines and testing available to their household contacts.

The meeting received a detailed briefing on the vaccination program from three top officials – Covid Task Force Commander John Frewen, Health Department boss Brendan Murphy and Chief Medical Officer Paul Kelly.

Earlier, Lieutenant General Frewen told reporters while Pfizer supplies remained constrained, there were ample AstraZeneca doses for people over 60.

He warned the disease would not be eradicated in the near future…

Almost 7.4 million Australians have been vaccinated.

Worth reading in full.

We fell out with an Australian couple living in London that we knew for over a decade. The pious attitude they had about how “successful “ their homeland was in dealing with the virus was irritating enough but when they decided to scold my wife for not taking the vaccine like responsible citizens, that was it for us.
A particularly horrendous comment was “I bet your really glad that WE have taken the vaccine aren’t you?”
Glad to see their true colours.
I watch with an unfortunate sense of amusement as the antipodean zero Covid strategy unravels.
I suppose being descended from prisoners may have some genetic predisposition to locking themselves up into a giant prison.

Australians who are injured by these vaccines will have to pursue compensation through the courts at great expense and it could take years, according to a hearing in the Australian senate https://rumble.com/vj3pqp-secret-video-of-australian-senate-meeting-with-head-of-tga-brendan-murphy.html

Ansolutely, especially if you’re plannimg on flying. flying after the jab increaes the risk of death from clots, although the four dead pilots in britain and the five in india are apparently coincidental.
You wouldnt get me up in a plane with a pilot and co pilot locked in the cockpit and at risk of suffering a stroke.

The emotional pressure is pretty intense. She has had hers, as has everyone else in both families. So just me. But i am the only one who reads anything other than the BBC. I even sent her this http://www.skirsch.com/covid/Vaccine.pdf but she wont read it.

I also used to travel for work, regularly, which would also be shut off if I dont. Honestly not sure what to do.

I asked her if she could live with herself if anything happened to me. She said “nothing will”, to which I replied “that’s what all the thousands who have died from it thought”

Really understand where you’re at but that inner voice telling you not to have it is the one you need to listen to.
Hang on for a few months more, they will have to stop them at some point.
It makes no difference to your family whether you have it, they’ve apparently protected themselves. Missing a holiday for a year is nothing to ending up paralysed or dead.
Stay strong, you’re amazing to not have had it under such pressure.

I’ve had covid, which I think adds weight to my argument… So I am supposed to get an experimental gene-therapy treatment with no long-term safety day, which is killing thousands and disabling hundreds of thousands, for something I already have immunity to! Just to go and sit in the sun for two weeks.

Now Portugal have said 14 day quarantine for unvaccinated Brits, so the pressure is on even more!

I look forward to the day this madness is all over.

If you have had C1984 you have natural immunity now. If you take the injection you are at increased risk of Antibody Dependent Enhancement (ADE).

You have done some research so know the risks. I suspect your position will be vindicated this coming Winter unfortunately.

There was a strapline from a ’70’s anti-drug campaign:

Just Say No.

Stick with that.

I’ve also had covid and am immune, but I find almost nobody believes there is such a thing as naturally-acquired immunity. It’s because there is a campaign of silence about it, from government and from media. It’s one of the most disgraceful aspects of all this. I’ve had several people say to me “oh but you can get it again” – which is untrue, and to which my reply is increasingly sounding like a snarl because I’m so p***ed off.

Stick with your instinct. Nothing you can say will change her mind because she’s been vaxxed herself, and it would be like admitting she took a risk for which she might possible pay a price later (hopefully not).

As things stand holidays abroad may not even happen, not without jumping through hoops first! Any form of overseas travel is looking pretty remote, too. Is it worth risking taking this still-on-trial injection into your body, in exchange for a holiday? What’s more important? Your health or even life, or a holiday? It’s very hard at the moment. Families are being pulled apart by the sick governmental push to get this thing into every single arm, no matter what, because this is nothing to do with health but everything to do with control and immense amounts of money! Only this morning I heard that a distant friend was pressured so much by her family that she caved in, and is suffering extreme pain in her arm. She wasn’t even told about side effects or the Yellow Card System until they’d actually jabbed her. She instantly regretted having it. It’s absolutely your choice but you must give your “informed consent” and not be coerced by anyone, including family. Do your research and ask lots of questions, and don’t be fobbed off. Keep talking to your wife and only do what is the right thing for YOU!

Good man. You should simply ask yourself “Am I afraid of the flu or ever been afraid of it before?” If not, carry on as you are.

The government and media have done such a hatchet job on people to make them think they’re going to die from this that the majority have lost their minds.

People that have succumbed to it are the people I’d be aware of; weak minded and easily manipulated. Sorry to put your family in that category but we are where we are. 🤷‍♂️

Well my wife is a teacher, and her Dad has cancer. So she had other reasons to consider the vaccine right for her. I have no problem with anyone who wants to get it, so no one should have a problem with those who do not wish to get it. Simple.

Good for you.

Even if you did concede and then managed to get away on holiday, just remember how many times the tyrants have changed the status from green to amber at short notice, resulting in a panic to return to the U.K. Booking a holiday is not worth the potential hassle.

I would love to go abroad but personally, I don’t want to go through all the unnecessary palaver to get away, just to boost the economy of other corrupt countries. It’s bad enough living and spending money here.

You’re not alone. My husband works in the travel industry and is double-jabbed. My parents are double-jabbed, ditto my mother-in-law who said I was a silly girl for not getting jabbed, my eldest son has had his first jab. I am surrounded by people who think I’m a loony tune but I will not give in because I truly fear these jabs. I worry about how many family members will still be around next year or even in 2 years.

I am in the same situation. I am dreadfully worried about side effects. I am not reassured by people saying how “rare” they are. If they happen to you, it’s too late to argue about their rarity.

My other half had his first jab, and my elderly parents have had both. My grown up son has had one. None of them have had any side effects at all, but it doesn’t stop me being worried about it.

When I tell my mother about the deaths and side effects recorded on the yellow card system, all she does is say ” Well, I’ve never heard about that” as if it settles the matter! Unless it’s on the BBC, it doesn’t count, in her view. All she can say is that she’s alright, as if what happens to others does not count – massively self centred.

I am holding on and not having it. If pressed I would say that I might consider it in 2023 when all the data is in. Until then, no thanks. And if I cannot holiday abroad, I will live with that.

Give her a required listening list to include Drs. Yeadon, Bhakdi, Wadarg, Bridle, McCullough, Kory, Merrit, Hodgkinson, and Malone (all found on either bitchute or rumble).
The fear and confusion campaign needs to be countered by informed, intelligent, logical and moral arguments. I hope she can be brought to see the light.

Many that have taken the experimental gene therapies basically fell for the propaganda that they’d need it to travel. As far as I can see, negative PCR still acceptable – not that I personally would even subject myself to that. Now America’s FDA officially added heart inflammation to their side effects list for Pfizer & Moderna. AZ jabs leading to 745,966 reactions and 904 deaths in UK to date, British Airways pilots dying after the jabs & BA suppressing the truth after crisis talks with Govt. *Discuss how insane the concept of taking an experimental gene therapy is, in order to go on holiday, especially based on what we no know about how dangerous they are. If a reason to take the jab is put forward based on protection from Covid – again, no protection against transmission or infection, only reduction in severity of symptoms. Considering this whilst simultaneously seeing overwhelming evidence on the effectiveness of Ivermectin in treating Covid (both preventively and for severe hospitalised cases), I am baffled at why anyone would take the jab at this point. Break away from the herd mentality, do not fear social ostracism, engage with your own independent thought as a critical… Read more »

One way of stalling for time could be to say that you’re waiting for the experimental phase of the jabs to be over before you make a decision.

While I agree with you it is a bit more complicated when you are the only one bringing in a wage and have an elderly mother and a broke sibling to support. In addition the people you most care about are questioning why you won’t take the bloody jab and you know that before long your job will be under threat if you don’t take it. I just hate this fucking government and all the morons that support them in forcing this on people. Why can’t we just be allowed to make up our own minds without facing blatant discrimination. I’m so bloody sick of it all.

If you take the initial two jabs you will have to take the third one in autumn.
Then you will be required to take additional covid shots next year, who knows how many?
Then they will start making other vaccines mandatory and before you know it you will be a walking pin cushion filled with DNA altering slop.

Just thought I’d mention this. Yesterday I returned a phone call to my first cousin whose second daughter got engaged at Christmas. Very sweet and friendly and some chat about the family and then she said “I’ve some good news and some bad news”.” Oh dear,”I said hoping that it was nothing too serious.” Yes we are having the wedding on September 18th and of course you are invited.”It is going to be a wonderful do etc, etc. There is just the Covid issue, have you been vaccinated?” I did try here to say that if they were all vaccinated there was hardly a problem but it was no use. “Some of the guests might be nervous that I was carrying the virus”. This is the baby I used to push in the pram to the shops 70 years ago. So that’s that then.

Exactly, I can’t understand these people saying ‘I’ll leave my job rather than have the jab.’ How about trying to fight it first, via all legal means? If they walk out of a job for not having the jab, just who is going to employ them?

The end game will be compulsory vaccinations for all.
This will provide pharma with a massive reliable income stream and will allow the politicians to cull the herd as they deem necessary.

The push by the Australian government defies logic….again. Fact is 93% of covid deaths in Australia were in aged care facilities. The vax rollout was outsourced to the private sector and was a shambles. None the less as at the end of May 2021, that is about three months into the rollout about 93% of vaccine caused deaths were in aged care facilities. Go figure the politics of wedging a Union and pushing the mandate onto the wider community.

Well, an emergency meeting of Australia’s ‘National Cabinet’ (the Prime Minister and all state Premiers) has just mandated vaccination for all workers in residential aged care in Australia (and for quarantine workers, and is mulling over compulsory shots for disability care workers). This decision could run into problems, however, because some of the targets are showing some fight – the nurses’ union has polled over four thousand of its members who work in aged care in Western Australia and finds that two thirds of respondents said vaccinations should remain voluntary in the sector whilst one third said they would leave the industry if compelled to get a jab. The union is using this to pressure the federal government to keep vaccination voluntary in the industry.   Twice before, a push for mandatory jabs for aged care workers has failed at National Cabinet because they feared the effects on staffing in a sector plagued by low wages, low status and difficulty attracting qualified nursing staff. The PM is promising a cost benefit analysis (so, they know what one of those is, then – pity they didn’t do one for lockdown!) before the deadline for compulsory jabbing expires. The serious threat of a mass exodus of… Read more »
