Fertility Rate in 2021 in England and Wales Could Be Lowest Ever Recorded in 2021

by Michael Curzon
30 June 2021 12:38 PM

Lockdown restrictions in 2020 did not lead to a baby boom – perhaps due, in part, to increased financial uncertainty and family fallouts – and data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) suggests that 2021 could see the lowest fertility rate ever recorded. Sky News has the story.

Fertility rates for December 2020 and January 2021 showed “relatively steep decreases” compared with the equivalent month the previous year, down by 8.1% and 10.2% respectively, according to the ONS.

Live births in these months would have mostly been conceived in the weeks after the first coronavirus lockdown came into force.

However, couples got busy when restrictions lifted in the summer months.

Figures show a 1.7% year-on-year increase in the fertility rate for March 2021 – which “mostly translate to live births conceived when lockdown restrictions were beginning to be eased in summer 2020”, the ONS said.

The total fertility rate is the average number of live children a group of women would bear if they experienced age-specific fertility rates throughout their childbearing life – and could end up being the lowest ever recorded this year.

According to ONS data, for the first three months of this year, the rate for 2021 is estimated to be 1.53 children per woman.

This is down from 1.92 children per woman in 2011.

Data also shows live births in England and Wales in 2020 fell for the fifth consecutive year.

[However,] the stillbirth rate for January 2021 was 4.7 – the highest for any calendar month since March 2018.

Worth reading in full.

I would have thought the restrictions would have prevented new couples from being formed. Not sure if existing couples would have been more likely to stay together, or to split up, but on balance you’d think we’d end up with fewer couples which must have an effect on the birth rate sooner or later.

As you say, Julian, there was no likelihood of new relationships being forged during the first lockdown and they have largely been discouraged by default ever since. Couples weren’t allowed to ‘meet’ unless six feet apart under the early lockdown rules if they lived in different accommodation, and certainly weren’t allowed to meet indoors. This went on for weeks if not months. Bubbles didn’t come in to being until much later on. Effectively, being intimate in any way from a hug to…. was outlawed. One couple I know weren’t even allowed to meet outdoors for this period because they lived about 10 miles apart, one in England and one in Wales. They had only got together in the previous six weeks or so. Needless to say, their relationship didn’t survive.

Well, if you subject a population to fear, bio-terrorism, lay-offs and an imploding small business sector, it’s hardly surprising that rumpo slips down the list of things to do.
Oh, and I missed off a sudden sharp rise in food costs. Is that just me, or is that something else to add to the list of societal contraceptives?

And I also missed off the uncertain long-term effects on fertility of the experimental injections. Eric Weinstein guested Dr Robert Malone lately (he came up with the genius idea of mRNA ‘vaccines’) on his Dark Horse podcast, with A.N. Other doctor type. They observed that the spike protein the body is fooled into mass-producing was toxic, and appeared to cluster at various spots in the body, including the ovaries.

I’d echo eastender53 entirely – the elderly have been culled, first through confinement, neglect and potential mass euthanasia (follow the midazolam trail), then through coerced injections followed by further confinement.
Project Fuck-Up is taking care of the young quite effectively. My daughter’s school sent a bed-wetting letter out telling us that loads of children had ‘tested positive’ (yes, I know that’s a lot of crap) and warning of further insultingly stupid confinement measures. Since primary school tinies have not yet been herded into the injection lines, I hazard that they might be being made ill by their injected parents/careers/grannies etc.

Stress and stillbirth have a proven link.

https://www.nih.gov/news-events/news-releases/stressful-life-events-may-increase-stillbirth-risk-nih-network-study-finds

I admit that is a ‘no sh*t Sherlock’ statement but no less valid for that. When you add the evident links between the experimental gene therapy and damage to ovaries, testes, and placenta nothing about this should be surprising. You want to reduce the population? Kill the old, sterilise the young. Simples!

I also saw reports during 2020 that suggested that expectant mothers were failing to attend scheduled ante-natal appointments and classes and that this could well have had a bearing on a rise in stillbirths and miscarriages. The evidence was that, because of the propaganda, many expectant mothers believed It was preferable to isolate themselves rather than risk going to appointments and contracting covid.

In 2020 many antinatal appointments were remote rather than in person, and antinatal groups were cancelled or again remote. And expectant fathers weren’t allowed to attend scans or appointments. Again attempts at blaming the public for being too scared to engage with services, when the sole blame lay with the nhs and the government.

I think the societal programming is far more impactful.

The next generations are being brought up to view other humans as a dangerous, polluted biological threat.

Previously we assumed other people were healthy unless there was good reason to think otherwise. Now we are being programmed to assume other people are unhealthy unless they can prove otherwise.

The collapse of the homo sapiens species is about to begin and not precisely because of a virus or global warming.

And that’s the terrifying thing, the easy, short term “fix” for this existential crisis is to import New Britons, with all the long term problems that brings. And even then, the ones that you’d actually want to have children will adopt the local culture and put work before family.

Even Japan is starting to crumble and make sounds about welcoming in fecund wombs.

Don’t worry, they’ve thought of that. Borders have for all intents and purposes been firmly shut. They will reopen slowly with strict new rules which will include strict centralised biological profiling.

If what worries you is open borders, you can rest assured that your worries are pretty much over.

And lockdown maniacs like former MP Richard Taylor, an 86 year old who’s been married twice and fathered four children, want to prevent young people from ever meeting a new partner and having children – because that’s what permanent social distancing means.

I always ask this question to pro-lockdowners: would you retrospectively apply the restrictions now to past diseases, particularly the Hong Kong flu? You’d have to cancel Woodstock and other festivals, Beatles and Rolling Stones performances, crowds watching the rocket launches that landed men on the moon, etc. They never give an answer.

I very much doubt that those who want to wreck young people’s lives now would have agreed to have their own fun youth spoiled. It’s wrong how we expect the young to sacrifice their lives.

This is just the beginning. There are going to be very few healthy children born this year or next.
And those that are born will need to be watched closely to see if they have normal development.
You don’t send gene therapies into every child bearing woman without testing the long term effects, well not since thalidomide anyway….

Trust me it’s far more prosaic than that. Just with the reprogramming that society has been subjected to over the last year birth rates are going to crater.

People now regard each other as dangerous, unclean creatures to be avoided and kept away from.

What do you think 12 months of wearing a mask by young children under the pretext that they if they don’t they’ll catch deadly germs end up killing someone will do to them psychologically in the long run?

Finally! I’ve been banging this drum for a year. We get daily figures on beds, “cases”, “infections” and deaths “from” the Kung Flu, but crickets when I looked for birth figures, or antenatal demand.

1.53 children per woman is absolutely parlous, and that includes births from the imported welfare seekers that were meant to provide the next generation of, er, Britons. The Scotch will be even worse, they were already down to an eye watering 1.37 by 2019 – they must be chasing 1 child per womb by now.

Demographics is destiny, and this is an existential crisis. We’ve crushed our population’s will to reproduce, and the “solution” to that looks a lot like Idiocracy.

And in a few years, when it is deemed a problem, the government will step in to provide a “solution” and hector the public into doing something. And no one will think to bring up the fact that it was the government’s previous policies that caused the problems in the first place. And their “solution” will not only not solve anything but will cause another set of problems. And it will be our fault again. And the government will have the solution. Again, and again.

Maybe this will turn out to be good news if it’s only the unjabbed skeptics who’ve still been dating and getting in with their lives?

After 18 months of trying and a 12 month NHS waitlist to even get a fertility consultation appointment let alone treatment, we are finally expecting a baby in 2022. I can confirm he/she will be nothing but a critical thinker!

Unfortunately the constant pressure for masks, testing, jabs only accelerates when you’re pregnant but I will continue to politely refuse all of it, and impolitely if my wishes are not respected!

‘Horizontal recruitment!”, as we used to jokingly call it in my younger revolutionary socialist days, when, in grim times, the only way to get new members seemed to be to make them amongst ourselves in the way Nature intended. Fortunately for lockdown sceptics, the situation is not so dire but every addition to our ranks counts.

The real impact of lockdowns on fertility is yet to come.

Sexual activity has plummeted, new habits means that youngsters are far less motivated on the whole than previously to meet partners. The real plunge in fertility rates will be seen in the next 5 to 10 years.

This might have had some bearing.

The government changed the rules for medical abortion at home during the ‘pandemic’, to enable women to take both pills at home, up to 10 weeks gestation. Previously, the first pill was administered by a professional.

Ah yes, all the smug tittering bourgeois last year pondering the expected baby boom of the lockdown .
Slightly moist about the gills at the thought of all those closely confined bodies and lots of free time. The Carry-on film innuendo opinion pieces.

Guess what, scared people aren’t thinking about sex, they aren’t getting excited about the prospect of endless copulation.

Internet porn suppliers have probably made a fortune as people turn to the easy opium to distract from the strange and worrying circumstances they find themselves in. A corrosive addiction that will blight their lives and relationships forever.

But govt boffins sit around scratching their heads as to why so few babies.

Let’s see what happens to fertility once the effects of mRNA gene editing jabs, the current two plus endless ‘boosters’ already being lined up for the winter, have on fertility. My educated guess would be downward, sharply.
