Government to Urge Venues to Require Vaccine Passports for Entry after “Freedom Day”

by Michael Curzon
12 July 2021 4:24 PM

Health Secretary Sajid Javid has confirmed that the Government is going ahead with the fourth and final stage of its ‘roadmap’ out of lockdown on July 19th, saying there will “never be a perfect time” to end restrictions: “If not now, then when?”

It has, however, become quite clear why ministers have decided to “tone down Freedom Day rhetoric“, as large indoor venues in England have been urged to tell customers to show vaccine passports before being granted entry this summer. The day we were told would be the “terminus date” for restrictions in England will instead be a partial easing of restrictions that in all likelihood will return in winter. The Guardian has more.

Speaking to MPs, the Health Secretary confirmed the Government’s plan on July 19th to lift almost all the remaining legal restrictions put in place during the pandemic, including those covering mask-wearing and the size of social gatherings.

But his tone was noticeably more downbeat than a week ago, when he told MPs, “freedom is in our sights once again”.

The vaccine certification plan, in which venues will be “supported and encouraged” by Government to use the NHS app to check up on their customers, was the most concrete sign of a change of tack.

A review of Covid certification had been carried out by the Cabinet Office, under Michael Gove, but ministers had concluded previously that the scheme would not be immediately necessary, and should be held in reserve for the autumn.

Instead, with only a week to go until mass events will be allowed to go ahead, and venues such as nightclubs can reopen, the Prime Minister’s official spokesman said the Government would be in touch with businesses to encourage them to implement Covid checks at the door.

He suggested customers could either show that they have been double-vaccinated, or had a positive PCR test within the past six months – or could carry out a lateral flow test and show the email they received after reporting a negative result.

Javid said the Government was acting “in a measured way,” and had only proceeded because its four tests – on vaccines, hospitalisations, NHS capacity and new variants – have been met.

He said July 19th would be, “a major milestone for this country, taking us another step closer to the lives we used to lead”.

He conceded that infection rates are likely to get worse before they get better – potentially hitting 100,000 a day – but said the vaccination programme had “severely weakened” the link between infections, hospitalisations and deaths. …

He said moving now offered, “the best possible chance of a return to normal life”.

The events industry is likely to respond with exasperation at being given such short notice to implement the scheme. The PM’s spokesman stressed it was already “up and running” because it had been tried at a series of pilot events.

Ministers have also underlined the continued importance of mask-wearing in all indoor, crowded spaces in recent days, despite the decision to lift legal restrictions.

And employers are being encouraged to act cautiously when it comes to ordering office staff back to the workplace.

Worth reading in full.

A reaffirmation of the initial declaration (March 2020). Hopefully those who run this site and others who were hoping against hope for some closure to this madness will now realise the Big Lie is as firmly embedded in mainstream narrative as it has ever been.

It was a declaration of war all the way back in March 2020 and we surrendered without a fight, even as world governments almost uniformly did everything they could to kill as many of us as they possibly could.

Exactly the same here. I have not used my local pub since 2019. My ‘exemption’ stays in my pocket at all times (only there if the police are called). I won’t scan anything and I won’t leave any details. Fake ones included.

It really is a personal choice, but for me even the pretence of compliance destroys me. I can’t do it so I won’t. I no longer get the bus to work, I walk. And I proudly walk around the supermarket maskless with my chest puffed out. It does me the world of good.

The new ‘guidance’ says this:

  • COVID-status certification will not be required in law as a condition of entry for visitors to any setting. Organisations are already able to ask visitors for proof of COVID-status, as long as they meet existing legal obligations including under equality law. The Government is providing a way for individuals to easily demonstrate their COVID-status. This can be achieved by completion of a full vaccine course, a recent negative test, or proof of natural immunity – through the NHS COVID Pass on the NHS app.

Companies have always been able to stipulate nonsense requirements for entry (subject to not falling foul of the Equalities Act). It will be interesting to see those who intend to continue the nonsense. They won’t get my custom, that’s for sure.

Indeed “encouraged and supported” in the same way as vaccines, no doubt – i.e. bullying and shaming. It seems highly likely that businesses who decline to be “supported” will be ostracised in the same way that they are increasingly trying to do with those of us who do not wat the vaccine.

Now we know where we stand, for sure. It’s not going to get any better than this, and it will almost certainly get worse. I don’t think even the most enthusiastic apologists for the government can now be in any doubt that the folly and evil are firmly embedded and that we will be tortured with coronamadness measures for decades. We must all do whatever we can to support a movement to fight against it. “Freedom day” is not a victory, it is another in a long line of defeats.

May I suggest that…

  1. Only frequent and support those establishments which allow you to fully operate as a Free Human Being, without restrictions or coercive methods.
  2. Create genuinely ‘Free Pubs’, ‘Free Shops’ etc., and such that you enter with full knowledge and acceptance of the risks, and are prepared to accept such.
  3. Create a parallel society, based upon English Common Law and God Given Rights. Hence bypassing the corrupt and malign Corporate-Communistic Legal System.

This trend towards ‘soothing others’ who are ‘anxious’ is another manifestation of the perma-toddler attitude that appears prevalent.

Children learn to sooth themselves if not pandered to by overwrought carers. This situation is the same.

People who are ‘scared’ should be told to get better masks or a hazmat suit. That way they will stand out for the fools they are and learn to self-sooth.

We cannot continue to pander to the perennially petrified. Appeasement never works.

I honestly don’t see the current political system as a means to bring about change. Everything is stacked in favour of the incumbent regime and when there’s a hint of opposition gaining traction, they sabotage and cheat.

I also heard a rumour yesterday that there’s a change happening to the way our constituencies are split up, so that smaller districts are getting lumped into larger neighbouring areas. This would obviously favour the government’s lockdown and consolidate their power.

Well Brexit happened against all odds – all the major political parties were against it. But then Brexit had a broad measure of public support, and had done for a very long time. We’re in a tiny minority.

Ultimately what needs to happen is for people to understand they’ve been had. As long as people believe the lies, whatever we do is going to have limited success.

It did, but look who hijacked the campaign… Pfeffel, Gove, and others who are in high places of government now. And besides, Brexit ultimately isn’t going to count for anything when the global financial system collapses and is replaced by a social credit system (the vaxport is the start of this).

If the fake vaccine does turn out to be our worst fears and starts killing countless people when the winter viruses come back, again Brexit means nothing. It’s my belief they knew this at the time and it’s the only reason they let Brexit win.

My instinct is that the only way to survive this is to gather together into a community of non-vaxxed people. Get off the grid and live independent from the state. It’s as serious as that. Once the social credit system kicks off, we won’t be able to buy food or do anything as we once did unless we get jabbed.

No we’re not. They do this all the time. They try to make our base seem small by using mass propaganda to make agreement with our position seem socially undesirable, so you get Preference Falsification. They did it with Trump, they did it with Brexit and they’re doing it again now.
Every once in a while something comes along to demonstrate to people that our church is actually much, much bigger than the propaganda outlets want us to think (Trump winning in 2016, getting the most votes of a sitting President in 2020, Brexit winning, massive anti-lockdown protests). This is Preference Cascade.

I guess any discrimination lawsuit will fail as medical history is not a protected characteristic. Though it would nice if some people who operate a business and objected to this started putting conditions of entry in place that highlighted the hypocrisy.

Insisting on proof of TB or polio vaccine
Refusing entry to any men who are circumcised
Requiring proof that you arent HIV Positive
Or the obvious one…..requiring evidence that you havent had the Covid jab

All ridiculous and appalling ideas of course, but it would highlight that you cant pick your discrimination…….

Medical history is not a protected characteristic per se but disability is and if you’ve been affected by a medical condition for 12 months that has affected your daily life then it is classified as a disability.

I’ve been suffering from mask induced distress and anxiety for almost 12 months now (just the idea of wearing one or the sight of others) so that’s handy that’s it’s a now disability from 24/07/21!

Incredibly, she can’t see the hypocrisy of this position and I can’t get through to her that choosing which group of people can or can’t be discriminated against is in itself discrimination. Utterly brainwashed and yet if you met her 18 months ago you would have thought her intelligent and rational.

Isn’t that domestic vaccine passports ? Without any Parliamentary debate, no public mandate, no House of Lords scrutiny. Just diktat into a segregated society. You can go to museums around the world where this sort of thing has happened in the countries history and you can see how it ends up. What next ? You can’t take a bus unless you consent to a jab. How many 80+ people have a smartphone or any idea how to use it? I cannot see young barmen/women spending time to assist every time an OAP wants to enter and have a drink.
The delays and loss of income surely will rule out this nonsense for anywhere that has a modicum of customer service. I refuse to take my mobile out anyway and have typically found that online stuff just refuses to load when it’s needed e.g. airline tickets.

So I will be discriminated against, contravening the Disabilities Act 2010. Throw in harassment from any goon who asks me to prove my status and a hate crime to add to it and the touch paper has been lit.

The Equality Act 2010, not ‘Disabilities Act 2010’, and the Public Sector equality duty on the State to ensure equality.

Oi, Javid, you utter tea towel of a man, how is this ” a step closer to the lives we used to lead”? I don’t remember needing any sort of “proof”, especially of my medical status, before this complete shitshow got started in March 2020. I agree proof of age was and is required to buy alcohol and a few other restricted products, but your age is your age, and does not depend on your compliance with a dodgy medical procedure. And since by the Government’s own admission the monkey spunk jab doesn’t prevent you from getting the Wuflu, or passing it on, then what the chuffing hell is the purpose of the Covipass? Other than to know where people are at any given time? Then there’s GDPR regulation, which govern how data is stored and shared, how does having to prove your medical status to a doorman or bar keeper chime with that? I thought that this had been ruled out as being too burdensome for businesses. That didn’t last long, did it? I hope and pray that businesses refuse to do your dirty work for you. If you want the covipass, you stand up and justify it. Put… Read more »

Yesterday we witnessed thousands upon thousands of soccer fans cheering on their team ina stadium in close proximity with one another without restrictions and mask-wearing, we witness government elites (including members of sage), royalty and celebs hob-nobbing at Wimbledon without any restrictions and mask-wearing, we see that this government is willing to waver any restictions for travellers who wish to fly into and out of Britain when it suits them – while the rest of us have to prove we have had the vaccine or paid hundreds of pounds for a negative test. This doesn’t sound like a national emergency to me – this sounds more like a government behaving like a bunch of authoritarian dictators. What I fail to understand if that the vaccines work and protect you from the virus then why still descriminate against those who have chosen not be vaccinated and if (as seems to be the case) that these vaccines are not working with the new variants (which they don’t) – then why the need for vaccine passports? You can be vaccinated and still get the virus variants and pass them on. No sorry , this is a tyrannical government that is out to abuse… Read more »

I think the football and tennis attendees all had to prove their covid status (vaccinated or recent negative test)

Try a real one: In Germany (less than 10 in 100.000 people “infected”), medical functionaries demand that unvaccinated people must be forced to wear FFP2 mask in public because “they are a danger to society”.

The mind bending part being that a filtered FFP2 or FFP3 mask might (but won’t, given the way they will be worn) protect the wearer from droplets or large aerosols, but doesn’t even make a token pretence of protecting anyone else.

Evidence is accumulating on the lack of effectiveness of the vaccines at reducing infection and transmission.

They have to introduce vaccine passports soon otherwise the public will realise that they’re unnecessary.

Once passports are in use it will take rather a lot of effort to get rid of them, even if there is evidence that they’re providing no useful function.

Flying fast and loose with the law never ends well for government. If these cunts think they are going to bully me into having a non vaccine they have another think coming.

The gov.uk page has been updated. All looking very grim reading this. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-response-summer-2021-roadmap/coronavirus-how-to-stay-safe-and-help-prevent-the-spread Encouraging and supporting businesses and large events to use the NHS COVID Pass in high risk settings. The Government will work with organisations where people are likely to be in close proximity to others outside their household to encourage the use of this. If sufficient measures are not taken to limit infection, the Government will consider mandating certification in certain venues at a later date. We encourage organisations in higher risk settings to use the NHS COVID Pass as a condition of entry, in order to reduce the risk of COVID-19. This will especially be the case in large crowded settings where people are likely to be in close proximity to others outside their household. The Government reserves the right to mandate certification in certain venues at a later date if necessary. To support organisations and individuals in these settings, the NHS COVID Pass will be made available through the NHS App, NHS.UK, or as a letter that can be requested by ringing NHS 119. Visitors will also be able to show text or email confirmation of test results. Organisations should ensure they are in compliance with… Read more »

Same nonsense as now, (or recently), then- you can’t go into a pub because you might kill some poor, unfortunate slob with your disgusting, diseased breath, but you can wander round a supermarket for hours on end without anyone bothering you and this is fine. How does no-one see the lunacy here?

Well-known closet libertarian, bold, freedom-loving PM Alexander “Boris” Johnson says covid is not over, “hopes” the lifting of restrictions is irreversible and refuses to rule anything out in terms of action regarding future waves/variants

I thought it was definitely irreversible? Isn’t that why it’s taken so long to get to this- so we can be sure? Did anyone actually believe him? Does he even know he’s lying?

The last thing I want is to have it destroyed by the “vaccine”

I am more relaxed about the “Vaccines” being an evil Bill Gates plan to poison us all and sterilise the young after this. Masks are theatre – and a distraction from what is going on which is a wholesale push for the introduction of a digital identity system. The rush to get everyone “jabbed” is simply a way of removing resistance to the Digital ID that has been re-introduced here without discussion in Parliament etc. The whole £34bn for track and trace has been a non-democratic heist of money for the introduction of digital ID’s by the totalitarian wing of the government.

Certification is coming as a part of this and we are going to have to fight very, very hard to resist it. Rip off the masks – refuse to use the Apps and stare down the authoritarians.

Rule, Britannia! Britannia, rule the waves!
Britons never, never, never shall be slaves ….

… erm, except when there is a flu-like virus going about with a 99+% survival rate in which case we will willing surrender our freedoms at the drop of a hat, remain in our homes, wear masks and inject ourselves with trial vaccinations in return for a little security..

There must be some elderly German gents somewhere kicking themselves for not having thought of just threatening to sneeze on us and breathe in our general direction- we’d have flown the white flag in no time for a bit of security…some people tell me it was different back then , but was it? How do we know how people would have reacted to a sustained psychological war- project fear gone nuclear?
